The Manhattan Film Festival is dedicated to bringing as large of an audience as possible for independent filmmakers as well as developing and discovering new ways to help filmmakers pursue a career out of filmmaking. Since our inception we have continuously introduced creative new programing. We were the first film festival to offer the option of film selection via a web-based competition. We later brought the festival experience virtual by arranging for filmmaker Rómulo Guardia to participate in a live Q & A from Venezuela. Most recently we launched the Filmmaker Revenue Sharing Program which has already raised thousands of dollars for independent filmmakers. Every year we work extremely hard to program a great show and put together an exciting festival. This is all possible because of the incredible films we receive every year!
