When we first launched we became the first film festival to offer film selection via a web-based competition. As we grew we saw the need to form a programming panel to meet the needs of all filmmakers. The purpose was to help filmmakers meet Academy Award qualifications. Our panel is now responsible for the majority of our festival programming. That being said we never forgot our founding slogan “The viewers have spoken.” After we announce our 2012 official selections we will offer every filmmaker that submits a film a chance to compete for three additional spots. Filmmakers will have the following two options to compete via a web-based competition:
1. Screen up to ten percent or ten minutes (whatever is shorter) of your film’s total run time.
2. Screen your film in its entirety.
